Amantran started with a simple frustration: sending the same PDF to 500 people and calling it a "personalized" invitation. We built the platform we wished existed.
The Story
In 2023, Heet Gabani was helping plan a family wedding when he faced the same problem everyone does: a spreadsheet of 400 guests, a beautiful PDF invitation, and no way to add each person's name without spending hours in Photoshop.
The workaround — sending a generic PDF with a separate "Dear [Name]" text message — felt wrong. It was impersonal. It looked rushed. It didn't reflect the warmth the family actually felt for their guests.
Amantran (the Gujarati word for invitation) was built to solve exactly this. Upload your contacts, upload your PDF, mark where the name should go — and send personalized invitations to everyone on your list in minutes.
